Answer: Dispersion is the process of wave separation by size (wavelength). This happens because waves with greater wavelengths move faster--the speed of the waves are controlled by their wavelength

A state of dynamic equilibrium exists; if the volume of any of the three components increases, the volume of the others must decrease to maintain normal pressures within the cranial cavity.
