Describe Lakatos and Laudan's problem solving success theory.



Answer: Why don't people discard theories when proven wrong as Popper says? Because they think it is a failing of the computations, instrumentations, and computer errors, instead of the theory itself. Proposed that falsificationism is not the best criteria we should be using for science, perhaps problem-solving success instead.
