Kinetic Depth Effect, shape constancy, relative vs. absolute depth cues, Pulfrich effect, horopter

horopter - region of space that projects to corresponding points on the two retinae

Pulfrich effect- When you filter an eye, the information has to enter brain slower. The image will seem to be behind the screen or in front of the screen depending up the filter of the eye. Advantages- inexpensive viewing equiptment, only one camera needed, motion allowed. Disadvantages- motion tied to depth, requires motion/depth choreography
