Answer: Irregular heartbeat reflects disturbances in normal conduction system, including: Sinoatrial node, Atrioventricular node, Bundle branches, Purkinje fibers. Cardiac arrhythmias are diagnosed with an ECG, an echocardiogram, or the use of a Holter monitor.
